The extended silence
It's been cold and a lot has been going on that I can't blog about, but all of it wrapped up together has left me feeling depressed and in need of some time to sit and think and watch a lot of tivo. The plus is that I finally printed out the Kitchen Calamities towels that Kristen embroidered and her husband Blake drew. These make me laugh out loud, so obviously I need some for my kitchen. I've at least been working on these while watching endless hours of tivo, so that's good. I'm hoping to sew a winter coat for myself this weekend. I have two winter coats, but one is very old and I think I like different coats depending on my mood. So I need to sew another one. I discovered that one of the legs on my mannequin was broken off, so today I'm going to guerrilla glue it and hope that it stays together. This is obviously not a witty nor smart post, just a straightforward update. I still have my sense of humor, it just doesn't extend to typing a blog entry quite yet. But I am determined to recover it soon. The end.
