The most popular dog in the west

Well, west river anyway.*

Lily was very popular with every person she encountered on the trip. Thankfully I had called Storybook Island to ask if they allowed dogs and was told they didn't, so I had a good excuse when I showed up without Lily to pick them up. She even got a little too much love from Riley and unfortunately I wasn't there to show him how to be friendly. Lily sort of avoided him after that. She was a bit freaked out on Friday night and when I wasn't carrying her around she was hiding in the bathtub or my dad's bedroom or her kennel. There were a lot of people at my dad's for a bbq and she didn't relax until everyone left. I knew it was bad when she didn't touch her food or the treats I put in her kennel. She settled down when everyone left, but I can tell she loves being back at home protecting her house from all those crazy dogs and people who must walk on the sidewalk within her view.

*A South Dakota smack down phrase to taunt those east of the river. When you're in high school you have to think of something to taunt opposing east river teams. Especially when your mascot is a shoe cobbler.

Hey - not sure you remember me - Beth's roommate in college. I was doing random googling of myself to see what damage I've actually had on the internet and fell on your site from the awesome book you made for Beth when we got her the iPod for her b-day ages and a day ago.

And of course, being from the right side of the state, I had to comment. :)
