Babies!

This picture is small, but it's the first image of my niece. It's strange to think of myself as an honest to goodness aunt. Typically I borrow the children of all my friends and I've become an honorary aunt to many of them. But this is the niece that is related by blood. That just might be born with red hair and have my brother's eyes. Will she be outgoing like my sister-in-law or quiet like my brother? Are my brother and I really old enough to have kids? It seems like my brother and I were just kids fighting over how to play Barbies (he always had them die in accidents or would pretend that Malibu Ken was the Hulk or there was that one time he beheaded Skipper...). I can't wait to meet her and I can't wait until she is old enough to come stay with me during the summer. I wish they didn't live so far away.
