I May Already be a Pansy
First, let me say that until just two minutes ago that Pansy is more a derogatory term for gay men than an accurate term for my wimpy self. I wanted to reference it since I used the word in a prior entry, but I will find a more accurate, less offensive term in future. And now on to my story....
It appears I am already too weak for Minnesota. I am pretty sure I shoveled 12 inches of snow on the sidewalks and driveway. I'm so sore I may die. I spent the hour and a half in the evening alternately attacking the full 12 inches and hurling it over my shoulder, taking half of it and throwing it over the shoulder, walking it to the growing snowbank and dumping it upside down, jumping up and down on the crap the snowplow left in the driveway while yelling (fyi, not really effective) or resting on the shovel and staring at the snow remaining. I also spent loads of time cursing the snow as it stuck to the shovel. I also tried looking either helpless or cute when the neighbor two doors down was snowblowing his driveway. I'm pretty sure the yelling and jumping up and down ruined it, because he never stopped by.
Tonight there is supposed to be another 6-9 inches of snow. God help me.

Spray your shovel with WD-40 and the snow won't stick. I haven't tried this, I've only read it somewhere. So if it doesn't work, tell me nice, but please don't get postal!
At least it's not a tornado?
I'm kind of jealous of the snow, but mostly not -- I'm ready for spring!
Poor Baby!!!!!
