The Motherload
It seems like I've received every possible technical gadget I've been jonesing for the last three years in the last month. Mom gave me my Christmas present early: a Tivo. Now I never have to watch commercials again. It is lovely. I picked up the serger from the fabric store on Sunday. I have wanted a serger for years and am not quite sure what to do with myself now that I have one. I feel like I don't have anything big left to purchase or save for, but I'm sure there will be a news item in the next few days or months to change my mind. There are still items on the Amazon wish list I guess, but I feel like I got everything I ever wanted. It's a very strange feeling. Especially when there are people in New Orleans who have lost everything. Interesting how I can take a seemingly good feeling and add guilt to it. Must be the midwest in me.
