Crabby!

Crabby wake up, crabby shower, crabby sewing, crabby stop at the coffee shop ordering a crappy mocha, crabby meeting with a client who feels the need to have a button take you to the second tab when the second tab already takes you there and you aren't even below the fold (I think this would have made me crabby regardless).... Obviously I'm tired. I need to watch Alias and pretend that I can speak 7 languages and inflict some major whoop ass on annoying clients...er, spies (same difference). The day started to look up when my coworker Mark suggested he play bad cop and either Sasha or I play good cop. He would throw paperwork in the air, scream and yell and we would be left to say "Maybe if you just coded it this way, he would be appeased." I'm sure the client would interpret Mark's righteous anger as intelligence and we wouldn't get fired. Maybe.

We stopped at Noodles on the way back and I ordered the most perfect comfort food ever - macaroni and cheese with broccoli paired with Stewarts rootbeer. The day was looking up. Even better after Susan and I got some cold stone ice cream (Weight watchers doesn't exist on crabby days.... ok, most days) and chatted it up. Maybe today will be redeemed after all. I still have a bit to finish on that big project that has been obsessing me. It has to get finished tonight because Jen and Garrick are coming over tomorrow. Hopefully I'm not too exhausted to take pictures of it. Hopefully it works out because I made the pattern for it out of bits of patterns and a sample in the store I'm pretty sure the staff is starting to wonder if I will steal. Only the design. I don't steal physical items. I learned that lesson when I was very young and reminds me now that my mother is a genius and I'm just thankful she used her powers for good and not evil.

The end.
