The Bag
This is the big surprise I gave to Jen and Garrick last night. It turned out pretty well and they seemed quite pleased with it. Added plus was that Jen has done the baby's room in orange and loves orange! I gave her the leftover fabric to use in the baby's room if she wanted. Hopefully there is enough left to do something with. I just hope it will be a very useful bag. I was reminded how much of an information architect I was when I put the zippers in the flap - must be able to pull them down versus up for quick access to baby item while holding baby. That was a really fun project. I had thought of a diaper bag that could hold a laptop after I made a diaper bag for my friend, Kari, who logs when Finn poops and feeds on her laptop. If anyone would need a diaper bag that carried a laptop and iPod, it would be Garrick and Jen. Plus, it was a nice excuse to go to SR Harris to buy that kick butt orange pack cloth. Another project done. Next!

We LOVE it! It's the most amazing diaper bag I've ever seen! It is the perfect dad diaper bag for Garrick because it's all pimped out with pockets for high-tech toys. It's going to be the best traveling bag ever! (usually Garrick lugs a bigger bag than I do) now it'll all be in one! Thanks Lori you rock! And your spaghetti is fantastic to boot
After reading the picture caption, I was pretty disappointed to discover that it was not, in fact, a bag for carrying computer diapers. (I'm not sure if 'computer diapers' would be diapers for baby computers, or diapers with RAM and a network connection -- either way, I'm sad that this isn't a bag for carrying them.)
Seriously, though - very cool. I love the orange.

Janine - definitely diapers with RAM and a network connection. Far more useful that way - so when will you be inventing it?

It was only an experiment and gift for computer geek friends expecting a baby. You might be able to find something on etsy or post requirements under the alchemy link and someone can make it for you.
