Crafty Girl Weekend
First, couch rescue at Jody and Phil's house. We replaced most likely the grossest crap I've ever seen as a cushion with some very normal foam. The old stuff looked like rubber and it was disintegrating. Thankfully, Jody was smart enough to suggest we pull out the old cushions outside. I was covered in this wierd rubber dust. When I went to bed Saturday night I found more rubber dust in my bra. It was gross. But their couch is way more comfortable now. Which is essential for any happy home.
Second, more salsa canning, though with Tammy and her mom today. It went pretty well. We canned 58 jars and I took 10. All I brought were two jars, a canner and slow labor. I think there is another batch of salsa in my future before the fall. Because I have enough jalapeno's and you can never have too much salsa.
Now, make a quick baby outfit and plan a present for Linus for the big 01 next weekend.
