Holy Moly
I just spent two hours looking for an MP3 of The Process of Curriculum Development for Information Architecture from the ia summit in Montreal. Practically all of the other sessions were recorded, so I thought I would find this one so my boss could forward it on to his alma mater. Alas, the only thing I did find was some interesting information on curriculum development, lots of crap and a couple of amusing IA blogs. Now I'm tired. Plus, it's 4:13pm on a Friday and I would like to start my weekend early. At least the first of the work birthday lunches started today. Mmmm.... Nami. Sushi goodness.
Also, if you're wondering why I'm not opening a new window anymore, it's because I read an article somewhere (now I can't remember where and I am all done with INTERNET research for this afternoon) that said new pages are not accessible. It confuses the screen readers (like JAWS) and disables the back button which confuses the user. Considering that Accessability is my new interest, I should probably try to have an accessible blog.
That's all.

So the question I have is, which needs to change, the JAWS application to know how to deal with secondary pop-up browser windows, or users expectation that when you click a link NOT contained inside your site, that a window will pop up?
Most companies don't want you to leave your site to see supporting content, they want you to have quick and visible access to their site at all times, right? It will be interesting to see how these two divergent paradigms collide...er, merge.
You'll have to ask US Bank's in house accessability guy. I'm pretty sure he has a copy of JAWS to demonstrate as well.
