Fourth of July and I am Not Traveling
I was supposed to go to Rapid City, but time, work stuff and money all changed my mind so I'm hanging out at home this weekend. It will be really nice. My house is disgusting, I need to get two packages ready to mail, and I need to sew a present for Mia's first birthday party. I think I will try my hand at a stuffed animal. Not sure if I will be able to do hands and feet, but a big block of a stuffed animal might be nice. I hope. I was inspired by Wee Wonderfuls. She always makes super cute stuff and the big bonus: she actually finishes projects. Unlike me who buys all the supplies and then they sit folded up in my sewing room. These are the projects I'd like to finish in order of importance.
1. T-shirts for my dad - I'm definitely finishing these tonight so I can get them in the mail tomorrow
2. Pillows for my mom's couch
3. Gift for Mia
4. Fix straps on the purse I made ages ago for Saire
5. Window treatment for Sarah B's livingroom.
6. Sheers for my living room
That's all I can think of that I really want to work on this weekend. I am pretty sure I can get through 1-5, just hoping I can get to 6.
I would also like to stain the bookcase in the sewing room this weekend. I just have a few projects to do. Can you tell I like to fill up the weekend?
