Happy Birthday Tammy!

Today is Tammy's birthday and I just had to say a little something about her because she is so dang cool. I met Tammy while working at MPR and became buddies because both of us like to build stuff and I wanted to learn how to cook and garden and Tammy had both of those things down. Not only did she show me that cooking was fun and that the simplest meals are the best (my family and friends thank you for the marinated salmon recipe and salsa recipe), but she gave me great ideas for gardening and was one of my many green thumbed friends who helped me figure out why something wasn't growing. I love working on projects with Tammy because she is a research geek like myself and we don't dilly dally. Once the project begins it's pretty much full throttle until we finish but it doesn't feel like you've been working your butt off. Then she provides the best meal ever. I am so glad I know Tammy.
