Birthdays!

I can see this exclamation point business is a direct result of caffeine consumption and bright mood. So I just wanted to point out that I am a miserable excuse for a grandaughter because yesterday was my grandmother's 86th birthday and I am sending the card today. I kept thinking I needed to send a card, then kept forgetting to pick one up. So I finally remembered to get a card when I was getting my allergy medication refilled at Target last night and brought it with me to my allergy shot appointment this morning and finished it at work. Still. It's late and I hate that. I need to get her on the INTERNET so I can send a last minute e-card. I'm much better about being on time with those. Actually, I used to be because I would do the whole month at once and then realized the future cards were not getting sent. Curse you hallmark.com! Making me look like an unfeeling punk.

Alison's birthday is tomorrow! If I forget to send an e-card tomorrow morning I'm really going to look like a punk. But I have it written on my calendar and just put it in my outlook calendar. Hopefully that will be enough reminders. Alison and I have known each other since she trained me in as a coordinator at Target Corporation. Not only is she smart and funny, her husband Dave helped me get my first Information Architect job for which I am eternally grateful. I love being an information architect not only for the cool title, but also for the organizing of information. Those guys are seriously fun to hang out with, Anyone who doesn't know them is missing out.

Tomorrow is also John and Stacie's anniversary. Best bar setup and interpretive dancing ever and John and Stacie kindly lend their home to throw Wendy parties which is totally awesome. Stacie can bake a cake that makes one hover closely hoping there will be extra pieces after everyone is served. She makes cakes that make me completely forget I ever joined Weight Watchers.

Sunday is Sarah's 30th birthday. Sarah is also a Target pal I have really enjoyed knowing. She went with me when I got my doggie, accompanied Erin and I to D.C. and though normally quiet, opened a can of whoop ass on the pro-life protestors at the march. I was so proud. She also talked me into salsa dance lessons which made me feel like I might have just a little bit of rhythm. I'm going to start them again once the savings account is replenished. I can't wait to party down with her Saturday night!

Holy cow I have great friends. I am so lucky.
