Rained Out Again!

Curse you foul weather (I'm shaking my fist as I type - I'm very talented, I assure you)! But I did finally get a haircut and my stylist and I are going to be canning and potentially making purses together. Also my new dining room light was put up and holy moly is it bright in the dining room now. I am very pleased. Oh yeah, but Lily had barfed on my bed so I had to wash the bedspread. That was pretty nasty. Today I took my car back into the shop to have the brakes checked out (they are still squeaking even though they were replaced a couple months ago) and the oil changed before I head to Illinois next week. Next large purchase: tires. I'm certain that will make a big difference in the ride of the vehicle as my tires are getting pretty worn. I've only put almost 70,000 miles on them. It will be nice when the large purchases are out of the way and my savings account can be left to it's own devices again. Hopefully I won't need any more dental work this year to deplete it even more.
