My Own Stupidity Amazes Me Sometimes

What was I thinking? Three-inch-heels? By the time I got to my car last night I was limping and had enough. I drove home barefoot (yes mom, I know it's illegal) and let out an audible sigh of delight when I slipped into my Birkenstocks. My pinky toe and the toe next to it have big blisters from the straps on the heels. My feet hurt. Still. I have decided to coddle them for the next few days as a sort of apology. I am sorry, poor feet for strapping horrific torture devices to you. I will not do it again...until I forget how much it hurt and think they are cute again. The end.

Well, even if she were wrong about the law, it made logical sense at the time. Plus, my feet are very ticklish, so I can imagine getting in a horrific accident because I pull my foot back quickly.

Also, I would like to be taller. I know I complain about trousers being too short and short men always flirting with me, but here's the thing - my mom is still 1/4" taller than me and that drives me nutty. Kids should be taller than their parents. It's the law.
