Whew. It's been a couple of days. Well, we installed the tile on Wednesday. Jeez, tile is hard to cut. Just when you almost have it and only need to make one more cut, and then the tile breaks. I don't think I've ever cursed so much on Christmas Eve. Beth and I went to my mom's church for the the candlelight service at 10:30. For some reason I thought it would be a shorter service, but it was over an hour and a half and the pianist played the last few songs faster so we could get out of there. I was cheated out of Silent Night when I had to sing it at a breakneck speed.

Christmas I got a break. I baked, went to my mom's and went to see Brother Bear. A pretty amusing movie, if I do say so myself.

The day after was grouting. Another hard labor day. I'm so glad the floor is done!

Today is sanding and (fingers crossed) priming. I really hope I don't have to add more joint compound to anything. I have a feeling I will, but I am going to prime behind the toilet today so I can paint tomorrow before they put the toilet back in.

Mostly I will be so glad when this project is done. I'm so sick of bathroom renovation I could puke. I really just want to sit on my butt in a clean house again.
